We are located right here in the furniture capital of America - High Point, NC. When some of the furniture factories began to close in the mid-nineties, Ray knew he needed to do something else to support his family. With a strong work ethic and a "hands on" mentality, he started Gilley's Installation. It began with furniture installation and morphed into a "how can we help your business thrive?" kind of service. Ginger, a nurse by day, still handles the "behind the scenes" logistics that keep the wheels moving.
Now, our company handles management of IT assets, furniture moves and removals, associate moves, building decoms, and everything else you need to keep your business running smoothly behind the scenes.
Ray and Ginger have now passed most of the day to day operations to their sons, Heath and Jeff, but are both still very involved in the business.
When Heath graduated college in 2009, he started out by travelling on the road with our drivers. He trained with other equipment warehouses in North Carolina and eventually became Warehouse Manager. Since then, his family has grown and so have his roles within the company. Heath now handles all project management and scheduling. His wife Lia has been a part of the company since 2017 and now handles the day to day scheduling as well as office managerial roles.
Similar to Heath, when Jeff graduated college in 2012, Gilley's Installation welcomed him with open arms. Jeff now has the responsibility of Warehouse Manager, which is great for his detailed personality. He scans, tracks, and records all assets in our possession and leads our warehouse team. When Jeff and Morgan got married in 2021, Morgan also joined in on the fun. Morgan is critical to our asset management team and handles our UPS shipments.
